[SRX] How to log on to the secondary node from the primary node

SUMMARY:

This article provides information on how to log on to the secondary node from the primary node.

SYMPTOMS:

From Junos 10.4 onwards, the request routing-engine login command is no longer available on HE SRX, so you need to use the rlogin command instead.

On branch SRX, the request routing-engine login command is still available, although the last part of the command is hidden.
CLI> request routing-engine login node 1

CAUSE:

SOLUTION:

Use the following command to log on to the secondary node from the primary node:
rlogin -T <node>
Assuming that Node0 is the primary for RG0 and that you do not have console or SSH, Telnet, or Web access to Node1, you can use the rlogin -T node1 command to log on to Node1.
